When we describe our attitudes to things or evaluate events or people, we tend to use one of the basic grammar structures to be + adjective:
It is brilliant! It is perfect! It was interesting!
It seems so simple because there a similar grammar pattern in the Russian linguistic culture - Это великолепно! Это восхитительно!
But look attentively at the patterns: English - to be+adjective! Russian - Это+наречие!
This is a real TRAP! Beginners often transfer the Russian pattern to the English pattern: It was interestingly!
This is a mistake. Write - It was interesting!
Look at this sentence in one of the messages: It is very joylessly but it is our life.
Do you see the mistake? Not joylessly but joyless!
