Dear Learners,
It's a fact that the English and Russian Grammar patterns are different and can cause trouble when you can't re-programme your thought from your native language to a foreign one.
Its or it's - this opposition often gives a hard time to beginning leaners, probably because of their carelessness and laziness.

However, let's take a closer look at the opposition!
Its = a possessive case of the pronoun 'IT"
It's = a contracted form of 'IT IS'
It's = a contracted form of 'IT HAS'

Well, the danger lies in identical pronunication for all these cases.
