This point doesn't leave me in peace.
- Do alcohol producers encourage excessive drinking?
- Will a country's economy develop well if alcohol production is banned?
- Should our government severely limit alcohol production?
- Is it right to ban selling alcohol at night time, as it was introduced in our region a year ago?
- If we manage to reduce drinking, will our economic effeciency go up?

What do you think?

Well, any company tries to fatten the profits by all means available and it's quite natural. It's a law. But only we oursselves decide whether we accept their propaganda or not. Consumers are not puppets!
Of course, the economy will suffer losses. We shouldn't have any doubts about it. I don't know how to solve this problem. Maybe, to fight counterfeit alcohol.
I'm sure it's better not to take any severe measures because in some cases force is absolutely useless. It allows for the prosperity of clandestine manufacture.

Of course, there are rich people who produce and sell alcohol and they won’t give up such a successful business. In our country strict measures won’t help because our people don’t respect law. It's still possible to buy alcohol in Ryazan at night - you should only know where to go. We've already tried to close all casinos and game-machine clubs, as far as I remember...

It’s true that if we try to reduce the amount of legal alcohol or raise the prices on it, the production of cheap substitutes of poor quality will increase. It will be even more dangerous for the health and welfare of the whole nation.

Maybe, we should organize special hospitals for treating heavy drunkards and involve teenagers, who have only started drinking, into taking care of them. Young people will see what awaits them in the future if they choose a wrong path in this life. Watching a motivating movie about healthy lifestyle is one thing, and seeing a living example of inappropriate social position in front of you – another.

It is not human to be without shame and without desire. (Ursula K. Le Guin)

But isn't it too severe?? Young people shouldn't be a subject to such kind of pressure, I think. They're just not psychologically ready for it. Fancy incurable drunkards, dirt, decay...I don't know, maybe it can serve as a necessary emotional shock? And I'm not sure about the movies either. I guess everyone was shown such films at school. But the only effect they produce is sickness, so I'm sure you're right in this respect.

I absolutely sure that ban on selling alcohol at night time really works. Teenagers prefer drinking beer or “cocktails” and they usually buy alcohol in supermarkets, because they can’t store it at home (their parents can find it))). Now they can’t do it, at least in supermarket or in the center of the city. I also like the idea to ban drinking in parks. On the 7th of May (The Day of Radio University) some of my friends paid this fine!

To my mind our government should think of one thing: Why does a book cost more than an alcohol"?

Nowadays our government ban selling alcohol at night time and I think it's a right decision, moreover our government must limit alcohol production in our country, too many people finish their lives start drinking a lot and stoping work...it's a very sad fact about our country. People in our country are very clever and creative, but they are very lazy, they don't like to work, but they like to have a rest and have a lot of holidays, as one of the famous Russian people Fedor Tutchev: "Умом Россию не понять, аршином общим не изменить: у ней особенная стать- в Россию можно только верить"
