| Really bad news travels fast due to one reason - human instinct for a better lot for yourself at the expense of others. If others undergo trouble or misfortune, we tend to feel more elated hence there are more chances for us to prosper and achieve more. Good news is no news at all, it's boring, it escapes memory. Bad news for man is like honey for bees. Douglas Adams's aphorism proves that it's so hard to be human; it's easier to be a predator.
