| LP #18, ex. 7 - make up a movie based on the Hemingway stories.
I think we should make it with the whole group. Just one big video, or even a movie connected with the collection "In our Time". First of all I should say that I have a couple of ideas concerning this stuff - to make a movie just adapting one of the stories, or make up our own vision of the collection arranged in the modern times (interpreting the ideas of the collection). I wouldn't go toward and reveal the ideas of each of these proposals, but I want you to tell me what you think about the project. Waiting for fresh and different ideas from all of you. Hope you share my enthusiasm!

| Well, I have already explained my ideas to you, Max, and I think it might be easier for us to shot a video based on one short story (it may also include some plot lines borrowed from the other stories).
I believe we can get one story like "The Killers" as the framework for the movie or even put it in touch with any contemporary events.

| I agree with MissJane that it would be easier to Quote (MissJane) shot a video based on one short story
But I think that we should first read the book to the very end. Maybe, there will be some more interesting stories.

| Well, i absolutely agree that it'll be better to "make it with the whole group": more people - more ideas))). and it's a good idea to shot a video based on ONE story. I'm not sure on which one - "the Killers" or any other... let's think it over. Besides, it's possible to adapt Hemingway's story to our nowadays reality and maybe even change the plot (just a little bit), keeping the mood and atmosphere the same. it's worth trying, I guess.

| Guys, I think you've got things right. It really should be a group project. There are at least two ways: 1) take a story and base your moview on it bringing into it some elements from the other stories, 2) choose anyu plot line and develop it using all of the stories. One more point that you've mentioned - a kind of modern adaptation showing similar events in modern places. Well, stick to the ideas and we will soon start.

| Guys, I feel intrigued now. As far as I understand the scripti is ready and the first reactions are ever so positive. Can I take a look at the script? Is it a secret for the time being? I reall want you to do your best and learn to intepret fiction in different ways, shooting a film being one of them.
