When i studied at school i always wrote little cards with rules. It helped me to remember tense forms. But there is one very important thing - it is necessary to have these cards in front of your eyes. As for me, I pin them on the wall. And when i sat to do my homework, i saw these cards. That was an automatical repetition of those rules that I wanted to know and that were necessary for me in my education.

Memorizing words is not the case of grammar. For learning grammar I make different tables, schemes and diagrams. It is usefull to mark out some peculiarities, to deduce regularities and so on.

Bricks? Quite a new method for me... What's the idea?
P.S.Excuse me, guys, but as for me, the most effective way to learn new words and grammar is "üben wir schriftlich".

Yes, that is true. Another useful one is "Uben wir zu zweit". But "Uben wir schriftlich" seems much more effective.

Asya, each brick stood for a part of speech or a word and the teacher interchanged them to show us structures.
