We all know that we`ll have to start a new project next year. It'll be connected with RPG-services. So, I suggest you write here some important ideas about our RPG and just your thoughts and attitude. What do we need are:

1) The time of our RPG, I mean an epoch, a concrete period of time;
2) The scene of action;
3) Whether it will be some ready-made scenario or we'll create it ourselves.

Please, be serious while answering.

My first reaction is - make your own conception, your own scenario, your own plot, your own characters. And I will think how to infuse it all into your research activities. For example, this summer part of your duties is a kind of research practice. As far as I know, you are to write a brief based on some research work or works. Well, your knowledge or experience of RPG can be a good theme for briefing.

In my opinion, it's better to create an unreal world. I mean a world of magic, for example. I think the real world is not so interesting to exist in.

Seagull, when you want to change the world, start with yourself. Explain your ideas. In detail. Not in one sentence. People will react. I promise. *I'll keep tabs on it*

Or just launch the game. Just start it. Find the hosting, make up the gist. And put a link here. I may help you a little bit by the way.

There are a lot of fantasy-RPGs, a lot of postapocalypse-RPGs and so on. I mean that we can find a lot of good and profesionally-made RPGs with unreal world. But there's not so much GOOD projects based on our reality. So I think that real-like RPGs is easier to promote. Of course, if it is really GOOD RPG smile
