| Look around! There are a lot of fashion people everywhere, but are they really fashionable? Nowadays it became popular to be fashionable and wear rich clothes. But how can we look nice without rich clothes because we are still students and dont have enough money sometimes. To be fashionable with a good taste is an art. Art is the top of fashion industry because only crazy fantasy can create clothes for new season. Well, in this topic i want to speak about fashion and how art influences on it.

| To my mind, art has nothing to deal with fashion. Simply because their goals are different. Fashion strives for money, art - for beauty only.
People who make fashionable clothes and things think how to make them salable. Artists think of the concept they want to embody in their works of art.

| I think art and fashion are closely connected. It depends on our approach to the subject. Of course, fashion in the meaning "industry" is mostly commerce and it's inspired by current trends, comfort and customers' interests but still it doesn't exclude beauty just because this notion is abstract and very personal. Besides, there's another kind of fashion for judges of art - high fashion. It determines the above mentioned trends for the future and is inspired by art and the designer's perception of beauty.

| Designing clothes is an art, just as painting, drawing or sculpting. It is a way of expressing your feelings, your emotions, your ideas connected to a certain topic or theme. Making clothes after some designs is another thing and that is a real industry. Nowadays making clothes is equivalent to making money in Milan, New York or Paris for brands like D&G, Prada or Gucci.
These names don't have mush to do with art but with glamour, style, luxury and celebrity. You wouldn't be a star at Hollywood if you didn't wear a Cavalli design or a Versace one. Do you think that the designers who work for these world wide famous fashion empires care much about what the first purpose of fashion was, that is of art? Not really, taking into account they have to win the battle for
the supremacy in the field in competitions in Paris or New York. They have created a name and a reputation and now they have to be very careful not to stain it with some creations that would disappoint the fashion critics.

| To my mind they are closely connected. It's very difficult to create a new collection, you need some time to do it, in addition not everybody can invent something worthwhile, that everyone would like to have in his wardrobe. To do it you need have the talent. People want to look beautiful and be fashionable but most of them don't have such opportunity. Some of them don't have enough money, others have it but they can't combine it, it's very difficult for them as well as the art that not everyone can understand.
