| Actually, the topic is very broad. To start with I should say that the modern Japanese cinematography has made a great impression upon me. Another culture always fascinates, and in this case it is an eastern culture that makes my soul vibrate. I got acquainted with Japanese cinema while watching Okuribito (Those who have gone away) in 2007. It was a wonderful experience for me personally, as this piece of art resembles not only a skillful photogrpahy but a very deep idea of death as well. It is supported by the eastern philosophy and makes a great impact upon viewers. Even if you don't pay atetion to the technical side of the movie you may feel deeply those hidden motives that prevail in it. Afterwards I tried to catch any possibilty of watching a good Japanese movie especially if it has been appreciated by world's famous cinema festivals.
