| I don't think it's playing roles. Both men and women have to be strong but their strength is different. And besides no man likes women who are always pretending to be helpless. Well, it's a question of women's wisdom, I suppose.

| Hard to say. I often think that the power of a woman over a man is that she can be weak and allowing a man to take care of her, to protect her, to do things for her. A woman can be strong, this is fine, but she should give a man a chance to be her guard and a source of wisdom.

| Teacher, I agree with you. I should say that sometimes men need women to be strong.

| Agree completely. I mean it's natural, not just a role.

| By the way, speaking about the topic: people should cry. It helps to overcome stress, it helps to express aggression, anger, hatred, etc. If you don't cry, so you just don't feel. The stronger you are, the more difficult for you to cry. And the more stronger you are, the bitterer your tears.

| I disagree that crying means weakness! A woman is strong, because she DOES cry. Because she is not afraid to give way to her feelings... And I consider men who cry also very strong and sensitive. Well... I cry and so what! It doesn't mean that I am a sissy or that I am weak)

| Quote (orchid29) And sometimes it irritates others)))) You know I try not to be hysterical! And this is a different thing. I mean different from crying... I agree that hysteria really irritates. And fake tears are also irritating. But if we speak about expressing our true emotions - I think that can't irritate, but it should evoke either pity or compassion or sympathy!Added (29.05.2010, 15:00) ---------------------------------------------

| Quote (orchid29) but it should evoke either pity or compassion or sympathy! I don't think that pity is a good feeling. It leads to hatred. lovefootball), it depends on a situation, a person, your mood and so on, and so forth. If you give an example, it'll be easier to answer your question.

| I don't take into account really tragic situations. But there are people who cry in public very often and no one can calm them down. What to do then? Is it right not to pay any attention to tears?

| I won't be speaking for everyone on the earth, but I can cry only when I am deathly offended or when I have lost all hopes to try to improve some situation. Tears are really healthsome in this case as they relieve emotional tension.

| MissJane, sometimes it's rather difficult to cry even if you are terribly tired of the fight with some problems.

| As for me, it`s too ease to cry. maybe I`m too emotional. I cry when I`m happy or sad. Sometimes it prevents me actually. I try to be more reserved, but everything is useless
