March, 5: the Ryazan Regional Court considered a criminal case of L. N. Chesnokova, a teacher in Ryazan State College of Industry Technologies, Economics and Law. She is accused of bribery (part 3 article 290 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation). The Court established that the lady received bribes from students of the College time and again by sums ranging from 500 to 1,000 rubles. The total sum of bribery made up to 14, 750 rubles. This happened in the early summer of 2011. This way the bribe-givers managed to get their exams passed or their test papers marked positively. L. Chesnokova pleaded guilty and was charged with a fine of 90,000 rubles.
