A small piece of news from Great Britain
British government is going to pass the law by which every owner of a dog must insure his pet. And there is only one, quite sensible reason for it: if the dog attacks someone while being walked, then the insurance will cover expenses for treatment. They say, there are about 8 million owners who can have action at law if they don’t pay for the insurance. But still, Great Britain remains one of the "safest” countries in terms of dogs, because for example fighting dogs were banned there about 20 years ago.
I think, it is a good idea to insure pets. Pet insurance can help to avoid action at law when a dog attacks somebody. Besides, it helps save the life of your dog. In my opinion, this law must be passed in our country.
