Australian saxophonists set world record.
940 Australian saxophonists of different age and playing skills gathered at the Darling Harbour in Sydney today and set a new world record in simultaneous playing. They performed Waltzing Matilda and Happy Birthday. The event was held in honour of a local jazz and blues festival. The previous record was set during a jazz fest in Taiwan in 2008, when 918 saxophonists got together to perform in concert.
