Most of us use public transport every day. And what do you usually hear when you’re on the bus? “Dear passengers, pay the fare!” How often has that simple phrase led to so many arguments? Sleepy passengers don’t want to stand an irritated conductor, poor conductors have to come to everyone and say, “Take your ticket, please”. Ryazan government is going to introduce the electronic system of paying the fare. It must be more convenient for citizens and also more profitable for the budget. Would you like our conductors to be replaced by these gadgets?
I think you know that 6-7 years ago this system was introduced in Moscow. I used to be the user of it and I think it is much better than we have know. But it has its own drawbacks. The check point is situated after the first so-to-say “entrance” door, and all the other become exit doors. So it creates a queue. Or it is easy for stowaways (“hares”) to take a free ride.
Did the humankind think of "poor fired ones", we wouldn't enjoy Tv-sets producted with the help of assembly belt lines! But keep positive: freed from hard toil, the ex-conductors will have a chance to aspire for higher education! Hurray! Am ready to welcome them within the walls of our Uni
But...what will happen to conductors? They'll be just given the key of the street? People should work! Besides, it'll be almost impossible to maintain order in buses without conducters. And how could I forget! I don't envy these devices because they'll be broken, spoiled or stolen immediately.
