The governor of the Ryazan region Oleg Kovalev reported about the allocation of 81 million rubles: the government decided to buy school buses since during the last years Russian teachers simply could not organize a single excursion because either the buses were too old and so a trip could be dangerous or there were no buses at all. That is why the only thing that some schools could offer their pupils was lessons. Besides Oleg Kovalev also promised to spend 161 million rubles for buying computers and other technical equipment. Russian teachers cannot provide their pupils with good education especially in villages where there is sometimes no single computer at all. That is why the issue is taken into consideration and hopefully some measures will be taken.
They must have done it many years ago. When I was a child my class had at least one excursion in two weeks, because my school was located in the centre of our city and we could reach any museum, theatre, cinema or gallery on foot. But what should schools in villages do? They can’t afford themselves to rent a bus. Don’t they have a right to a sufficient level of education?
Hmm... Another important thing that should be taken into consideration - how much money will be REALLY spent on buses and computers? Just because there is a mysterious tendency in our country - money is allocated, but not spent. Or spent on something they were not allocated to...
Yes, at least these measures are sometimes taken. But I think they should have provided schools with buses long time ago. This is really horrible that we still CAN'T do things on time, so we always wait for the moment when the last bus is completely broken, and then "oh, let's buy a new one!"
