Four medical directions are the leaders in this list: dentistry (about 45% of all centers are fee-paying) diagnostics (19,94%) psychiatry and narcology (18,89%) It is noted that the majority of highly-rated specialists has changed over to the commercial medical centers and they seek for the job mainly in this area. Naturally that means that market-oriented economy is rapidly stepping into all spheres of our life…

Free-market economy has two-side effect: less control from government leads not only to small-scale buiseness initiation and wellfare improvement respectively, but to the curtailing of social security programs as well. Isn' that natural? Freedom presupposes responsibility. The US citizens can hardly ask for the photoroentgenography without paying.

State-owned hospitals are dying out, the quality of medical service in them is worsening, the economic war against population is going on, the national morals have been disgraced. Well, it's easy to understand doctors, especially young ones: they want their work (very difficult and risky) to be well-paid and I think it's rather natural. Everyone tries to do his best to achieve and earn more but it's not so easy in our conditions. And how will it affect people....that's quite another matter.
