Infected Meat Found in One of Ryazan Hypermarkets
The State Television-Radio Company “Oka” reports experts have found salmonella infection in meat products sold at Ryazan hypermarket “Globus”. The sanitary inspectors say no infected people have been registered.

The administration of “Globus” has nothing to say about how the dangerous bacterium got into their meat products. The specialists of the regional office of Russian trade and sanitary inspection authority decided to launch an administrative inquiry of the case.

I think that salmonella isn’t a very dangerous bacterium because it is killed by temperature. I absolutely sure that it exists not only in Globus but in any other shop or at the markets. Maybe it is just intrigues of competitors?

I recall the previous summer, when 40 children were brought to hospitals with acute food poisoning after they had eaten water-melons at 5 rubles per kilo. That was awful.

I think tnat “Globus” isn't a single hypermarket where "dangerous" meat is being sold and sanitary inspection should work better. It's strange that nobody has been registered and the meat is discovered.Unfortunately businessmen are intrested only in money nowadays and don't think about people's health harm.It is closely connexted not only with meat but also with all products. The worst thing is the acception of technical condition instead of GOST. angry
