Is it flu?

So many ryazanians are lying now in their beds with some terrible infection. High temperature, coughing, sneezing, - these are only some of the symptoms. The sickness rate is very high. Is it flu then? Already an "autumn flu"? But why?

I suppose our summer fires are the reason for the existing conditions. People haven't had a good rest. Moreover, this smoke is said to have been accumulated in our lungs. So, to my mind, these summer fires do have after-effects. And what do you think?

I agree with you. I have a personal experience in it. biggrin It is very terrible when you feel sick. I think that is an "autumn flu", because it is the very flu but not in time.

I tend to agree with Jane. We simply should not wear T-shirts when it's so cold outside! Our constant work weakened us too much, but if we have no time for resting then maybe we should at least eat regularly and dress ourselves normally?? (though it seems it is impossible to follow this advice)

Everything is possible. If a person habituate his/her organism to eat thrice a day, to sleep 8 hours, or to wear clothes according to the wheather outside, his/her health will be in safe. The problem is to force yourself to do all these things.

Yes, I personally feel that I didn't enjoy enough rest though I stayed off work for a long time. There was a lot of tension and irritation over the situation. I now have cold in my head, running nose, sneezing. But I have started to treat the flu symptoms to get rid of it. I hate being ill. There are so many exciting things to do!

I think that we have no "culture of being ill". If you are ill you should, no, you must wear a mask. Think about people around you!

Maybe I'm not right, but we'd better not invent a new 'fire' flu. To my mind the reason is that the cooling came so unexpectedly and lots of people didn't take it serious. No matter whether it is summer or not (or only early autumn), but when it is 10C outside, it seems reasonable not to put on a T-shirt. And it is AUTUMN already, so meet the situation head-on.

Of course, it might have weakened us but maybe it's just slight infection?
