Today the exhibition of Russian dolls "Matreshka” was opened in the Kremlin. You can visit it till the 15th of June. There are 124 exhibits, they are made of lime tree and reflect both firy-tale and religious motifs. The biggest Matreshka group consists of 35 elements. All the dolls belong to the Kokonovi, artists and collectors of Matreshka dolls. They have been collected dolls for 30 years, and now they don’t even know how many dolls they actually have.
