New Year parties: too much for children
According to psychologists New Year is a difficult period for children's psyche. Too many New Year parties and morning performances can even influence children's health. Doctors believe that children become overloaded with loud sounds and cheerful colours, they become “fed up” with excitement and joy and it can lead to emotional exhaustion. Experts believe that more than 2 parties a week can be harmful for small children. That's why they give a piece of advice for caring parents: “spend time with your children at home rather them send them to a morning performance”.

Sometimes parent want their children to share the wonderful atmosphere of the holidays and that's wonderful! But what about those who go to the Pobeda square with their friends, all of them drunk as hell? Is it a good company for children?

That's exactly what I'm speaking about.
Fireworks are undoubtedly wonderful.
But being in a company of drunk grown-ups?! I don't think that can bring much pleasure...

Sometimes it can even be dangerous. Little children playing with fireworks and firecracker... I remember when I was a child a friend of mine was injured by a firecracker that exploded in her hand. Sometimes such injures can even lead to tragedies

But as for the Pobeda square, the firework is organized by the city. So, don't worry - enjoy the show! biggrin
But nevertheless as I've already said being in a drunk company late at night somewhere in the city is not a good idea for children. That's my point of view. I've seen those children. Some of them could hardly walk because they wanted to sleep!!!

15 years ago the New Year Party on the Sobornaya square was the only opportunity to watch fireworks. So in spite of the fact that I was small my parents and I went there every year. Parents are not egoists, for them it is easier to leave a child with grandparents or even stay at home then to go somewhere. It is the greatest holiday and they just help their children to feel the atmosphere IMHO

I was also very surprised that there were so many children at the City New Year Celebration Party on the Pobeda square. I've always thought that loud and drunk companies are not for children, especially for babies and toddlers that should be deep asleep. but! there were so many of them there that I've thought that either their parents are complete egoists or I don't understand something very important...
