On the 23rd of September a new legislative act has come into effect. From now on there will be penalties at the rate of 500 rubles for the tinted glass. As for the bull bars, they will be allowed as long as they are included into the factory bundling of the car. So, as the proverb says, "Nothing is as bad as it seems". My personal reaction is positive and supportive. This wouldn't have been introduced, if things on our roads were just fine. The situation is awful for many reasons and in many ways. One thing which really makes my hair stand on end is US, the dirvers, car-owners. Driving culture is what we seem to have never heard of. It will take years to get rooted into our consciousness. BTW, road regulations abroad are strict because they had similar problems years ago. We are always lagging behind the civilzation in everything. Are we aliens to this planet, I wonder?
It will be the real problem for the people who want to spend their money paying different penalties. Those who know requrements for the tesing of glass do not worry at all
