Last weekend in illegal street racers’ competition an awful accident was happened. Nissan skyline run into the crowd of people. One man (only 25 years old) was killed and 5 were seriously injured. Every year such illegal competitions takes many lives. But who is responsible? There are no elementary safety standards there. Routes are too narrow, cars don’t fit the norms of this “sport”, racers may be drunk and spectaculars come closely to the participants. What do you think about such night activity?
I completely agree with Ayayulia. "...human life is far more expensive than any sum of money." And it is truth that the number of street racing deaths have risen rapidly. And in my point of view one of the main reason why people street race it is a desire to impress his/her friends. More over It becomes illness and it is difficult to stop.
Nothing can change this kind of activity. People always want to feel danger and extreme. That's why illigal races exist. There are some ideas how to avoid some percent of them, but this ideas are rather ideal so to say. For example, there can be ligal street racings, where the police can control everything, where can be observed all the rules of safety and so on, and so forth.
