American soldiers are tired of flies and ask scientists for some rescue. And the rescue has come. Pentagon has developed a weapon against flies. Scientists have been studying the life of flies and created a trap called "Fly Baiter". The professor of eymology Phil Keller sais, that Fly Baiter has beeb tested in Florida, and 40 thousand flies (96% of success) have been annihilated for a month. The wholesale cost of the trap is 10$. It is said, that Fly Baiter will be used not only by Army, but also by humanitarian organisations.
IMHO it can and will influence the environment. If flies are a problem than use a mosquito screen or fans, annihilation is too brutal and cruel. And what should birds eat?
