Pilots, stop speaking Russian!
English became a kind of a universal language for the whole world. But why is this rule not spread to Russia? Being on the board of а Russian plane you can still hear Russian speech from our stewards. Though according to some “air-standards” all the pilots and stewards MUST speak English. That is why it was decided that Russians should use English language too. So already in March you’ll have to ask a steward for a glass of water in English.

I think it is nonsense! When you are e.g. in Germany fly attendants speak German and English and all the announcements are made also in 2 languages!

To mind, if you are Russian, then even if you go abroad, it's pleasant to hear the native language during the flight. It is easier to understand and it's just pleasant. When I was in Oxford, at the day of our departure, early in the morning thw servant who brought the breakfast spoke pure Russian! Can you imagine our surprise and astonishment? He turned to be from Estonia)) We very very pleased and happy))

Yes, it will be ignored. Not all Russians are capable of speaking English and even those who know this language well won't take part in this absurd. Let our stewards use English when talking to foreigners but I would prefer to hear my native tongue during the flight.

biggrin I can't imagine that! I'm inclined to think that this rule will be ignored as many other strange rules.
