Posting Distressing Images is a Crime
Yahoo!News reports distinct changes in the Tennessee legislation. Come July 1, 2011, the state may punish you with jail time or fines if you "transmit or display an image" online (social networks such as Facebook and Twitter included) that has the possibility to "frighten, intimidate or cause emotional distress" to anyone who sees it. That means no electronic communication is safe under the new law.
Suppose we had a similar law in Russia, where could it lead us?

Aha, the rules are becoming more harsh now. As I know Skype has just transferred their encryption method to FSB of Russia, that is they can track all conversations now.
