The famous Canadian circus Cirque du Soleil is on tour in Moscow. It has brought its classical show Saltimbanco, which first appeared in 1992. The show is performed by a traditional international company of 51 people from 20 countries. The technical complexity and flamboyant setting of the programme are complemented by bright costumes, multi-coloured lights and live music. This is the third tour of Cirque du Soleil in Russia. Wow, I can imagine the price of the tickets....
BTH, a great percentage of Cirque du Soleil's performers and artists are Russian in origin. When I watched the interview with the founder of Cirque du Soleil Guy Laliberté, I was really astonished with the immensity of their performance programs all over the world. He said his childhood dream was not to work but to entertain people.
