Russian pensioner bikes his way across Australia.
A 67-year-old pensioner, Sergei Zimin, has become the first Russian to pedal his bicycle across Australia from south to north, covering 4,000 km from Melbourne to Darwin in 21 days. Zimin’s Australian bike tour became his seventh overall. For his journeys, he uses a bike of his own design with the seat half-leaning back making it possible for him to ride long distances without a break. Zimin’s longest uninterrupted bike ride in Australia during one day was 290 km. “I could have remained in the saddle even longer but I had to consider my fellow traveler who accompanied me in a car the whole way down,” Zimin said. The pensioner’s daily rides, on the whole did not exceed 200 km.

Wow, he reminds me of Forrest Gump) No doubt, such vitality deserves admiration but is what he is doing safe? I'm afraid it may come to no good.
