A unique exhibition of fairy-tale illustrations takes place in Saltykov-Schedrin's house. It's the first time when this kind of exhibition is put on in our town. Before this event the exhibition of picture book illustrations for fairy-tales used to be staged only in Moscow, rarely than annually. But nowadays any visitor has a chance to see more than 70 illustrations dedicated to Russian folk fairy-tales. Here are only some of them.
I know the fairy-tale about Cat, Dog and a golden ring! It's very funny and wise. The pictures are so nice. It's important to show children good sketches of their favorite characters.
I agree with MissJane))) I think that such exhibitions are necessary. It is intersting to visit it with children and to guess what fairy tale it is, and, having returned home, to reread some stories. Very educational!
