This summer is the hottest in Russia concerning all the history of meteorological observations. No rains, high temperature - this leads to numerous fires. Ryazan is not an exception.
Wildfires in the Ryazan Region have left almost 700 people without a roof over their heads. Several villages in the Ryazan and Spas-Klepiki districts of the Ryazan Region have been razed to the ground by the fires, with over 200 houses destroyed. One such village is Kriushi. The concentration of smoke over Ryazan is reaching a critical level. It's very hard to breathe being in the streets of the city. Speaking about the wildfires I must say that the situation in Ryazan is not the worst. Voronezh, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod regions, and republics of Mordovia and Tatarstan have also suffered great losses. The worst situation is in Viksa (in Nizhny Novgorod). Wildfires have killed 30 people, left 2,210 others homeless and caused damage worth over 4.6 billion rubles , the Ministry for Regional Development has said.
It is really terrible to go from Moskow to Ryazan! In Kolomna and Luchovitsy fire is everywhere along the road! Smoke, masked people, ashed and soot...it is a good scenery for the end of the world.
By the way, what do you think, will there be inflation in September due to the crop failure? If yes, what will the percentage be? And which goods will it concern?
