The first ice theater in the world opened in Moscow on the 11th of December. The performance is called “Teremok”- it is a popular Russian fairy-tale. All the settings and characters - mouse, a frog, a hare, a fox, a wolf and a bear - are made of ice. The theater will be the centerpiece of the Christmas Village, which opened as part of the Russian Winter festival on Revolution Square in central Moscow. The performances are to last till the 19th of January.
I find it really beautiful! It is a pity I still have not had an opportunity to watch one of the performances. Maybe I will find some time in January, who knows. But this theatre is the most wonderful thing I have ever seen!
