The 12th of April is usually a memorable day for our country, it is Cosmonautics Day. It is celebrated in honour of the historic first manned space flight made on April 12, 1961 by 27 year old Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin of the USSR, who made one complete orbit around the Earth (lasting 1 h 48 min) aboard the spacecraft Vostok 1. But this year it is a mourning day, the flags are flayed, people grieve. The death of President Lech Kaczynski and the cream of Polish political leadership is a desperate loss. Poland's tragedy which all the people share.
