The underside of “All inclusive”
Today the forth Russian citizen has died in Antalya due to alcoholic intoxication. The tragic event happened on the 27th of May on a yacht and took 4 lives. It is proved that the cause of this intoxication is surrogate alcohol. Why don’t we think about what we drink and eat? Many people buy cheap tours in “Third World countries” and don’t think about the consequences at all. These lives can’t be recovered. Let that be a lesson to everybody.

You can't be sure of anything. Food, drinks, shelter, sea voyages, trips through the country, water in hotels, seas and swimming pools - you can't be sure all this is safe and secure. So I think that the mentioned accident can't be called "as a matter of course". You never know what to expect.

The fact is that one couldn't predict such a tragedy - as far as I know it was a party on a yacht and the alcohol that was given to the tourist was bought by the organizers of the party. Who is to blame in this situation? I doubt that it is tourists' vain - hundreds, even thousands Russian tourists spend their vacations and holidays in Turkey, Egypt, choose "all inclusive" and nothing happens to them. But still, there is a rule to be followed: "Never economize on your health!" If you are not sure whether drinks are ok and food is fresh, don't take any chances!

I mean that our Russian tourists sometimes gulp down everything that is more or less "eatable" and "drinkable". Unfortunately I had such experience but with food (also in Turkey) one day before leaving. Imagine how I felt in the airport and on the plane.

Well, I suppose it will never be a lesson to any of us since not so many people can afford buying expensive tours, live in expensive hotels and buy expensive food. But people still have a desire to spend their holidays not only somewhere in a tent in the nearest forest but also visit places and have fun. Due to the fact that people cannot earn and hence save much money, they choose cheaper tours because they can get "something similar" but for a cheaper price. The result is evident.
