The annual competition has already started. To be the new "Miss Russia", you have to go through the casting and become "Miss Ryazan". So, if you are a girl of the age 18-24 (and preferably with long hair), you are always welcome! In oder to participate in this event, you have to register yourself on the special website or in the office. Good luck, girls!
I have nothing against models. They are beautiful and beauty will save the world. The problem is that now, especially in our city and country pretty and more or less clever girls have no chance to win because they have no money to employ personal stylist, makeup artist, choreographer and so on. Moreover you should pay for every step you take and every minute you speak. It is ridiculous and has nothing in common with competition. But nevertheless it is so. IMHO that’s why Russia loses every year.
I see the point now...But what about other countries? Does the situation differ? I can't say for sure of course but it's hard to believe that things are so rosy abroad. Actually, human nature is the same! Yes, I agree that we should take into account such a notion as mentality but if we consider acquisitiveness, I guess we all are equal)
Guys, I'm shocked! Why do I see so many attacks at models?? What's wrong about them? And what if you had such parameters? Would you retreat into the shell or try to make use of your appearance? Model business is just another profession and it's not more than a stereotype that these girls are constantly dreaming of making all women skinny and nervous hellcats!)) So, what I mean is that we shouldn't separate models from other women.
Dear Zuzu, don't be sad I'm less than 172 cent in height either but it doesn't mean that we are not pretty! You don't have to have loooong hair& legs to be the beauty queen! I believe that what's inside you is more important and valuable. I'm actually not a fan of those model and beauty shows. In my oppinion girls participate in them only if they don't have anything else to do with their lives. Education & a successful job & a loving family is way more important in our lives than a pretty face
You are certainly right,it's enough for us,girls, to put on shoes, make a hairdo and we are pretty girls, aren't we? Models seem smart when they are powdered, when they clean everything they have on their faces, their looks frequently leave much to be desired. Nowadays the less make-up you have, the better you look. Of course, natural beauty isn't given to everyone, so I don't object to making up but within reasonable limits. Thanks for the message,Natasha.
I think sometimes a winner is far from being ideal or beautiful. To tell the truth, money means everything,if your parents are rich and your height is more than 170, you have a chance to become "Miss Ryazan".
Well. female beauty parades are a sign of well-balanced and developed culture. A lot of money goes into it, beauty shows are part of the world's beauty industry. You know, it can seem strange but I would really like to get to such a show and feast my eyes on walking glamorous girls.
Beauty has nothing to do with such contests. It's all about money-laundering and advertising new products, brands and people with their news projects (that is, ways) of money-laundering and advertising. The chain circles. It all seems to me one big make-believe event of "beauty, charm and glory". Hate such competitions indeed. Though, they quite amuse those young ladies who have enough courage to take part in them.
There is a widespread opinion about all these contests -they are always bribed. I partially share this point of view because sometimes the winners look not so "perfect" as they actually should since it's a competition where beauty plays the hugest role.
