I agree with Julia and also vote for this course. But we should mention here that there are two countries where past is a national course like our smash potato or pel'meni, for example.
I think pasta won not only because it is the most delicious food, but also because it is easy to cook. As for my family I cook it once a week, usually when I have no time to make something else. And all that I use for it is pasta, cream, wine, meat or fish (usually what is left over after yesterday) and cheese. That’s why I also vote for pasta!
