The fourth annual World Naked Bike Ride rolled through Halifax and other Canadian cities on Saturday. The only clothes available was body paint. The global ride was intended to promote cycling as an alternative to cars and other oil-dependent modes of travel, and to remind motorists to drive safely around bicycles.
The good weather drew more people to the ride than ever before. The riders of the 90-minute parade say the reactions from onlookers ranged from cheerful encouragement to puzzlement. Many bystanders pulled out cameras to snap a picture. And how would you react?!
