The aim of this research is to reveal the necessity of the Internet in education. I've asked 5 students 5 questions about the Internet. The questions are: How often do you use the Internet to do your homework? What is the most challenging factor about the Internet? Is it better to use different digital devices for the purpose of education? Can we learn any subject using only the resources of the Net? What kind of learning activity do you use the I-net for?

I can't say that the results of the interview were not surprising for me. Most of the students said that they use the Internet to do their homework almost everyday. I think this fact proves the idea that the Internet is very helpful in the sphere of education. The most challenging factor about the Internet for all of the interviewed is getting a lot of infromation. It can be of all kinds. The answer to the third question is unanimous. My groupmates agreed that different digital devices are useful for the purpose of education. As examples they talked about Skype (useful for practising speech skills), different forums (practising colloquial speech and sometimes grammar), etc. The answers to the fourth question have been splitted. Three of the interviewed said that students can't learn any subject using only the Internet. They mentioned the everlasting problem of the necessity of a human being teacher in the process of education. And as for the last question, most of the answers were connected with English. I think it's a sign of progress in the sphere of learning English.

To counclude I must say, that we can't avoid using the Internet in the process of studying. It's very useful and helps to optimize learning. Even if we speak about the usage of the I-net in the studying process of any particular school or University subject, it already shows that digital technologies are not only for entertainment. And the attitude of the sudents to the usage of the Net in shere of education is very positive.
