The Internet in our studies
Do you use the Internet for your education? How do you use it? Have you ever thought about using the Internet in your everyday studies?
I’ve asked these and some other question my friends who have, frankly speaking, no idea about our Group’s site project. And the answers didn’t surprise me a lot. Well, it’s not a secret that any student uses the Internet for preparing for classes- to find info for one’s seminar or essay. So, it was quite predictable to find out that for Ryazan students the Internet is, first of all, a successful and reliable resource.
But what if you had to use the Internet in the very studies? What if you were made to do it? What if all your homework was absolutely impossible without the Inet? "Hmm.. quite nice, I guess…”, "A funny idea”, "Do you mean e-mail homework???” – there were the answers. The problem is that most of the students just can’t imagine any educational activity in the Internet except for finding info. they can’t even imagine that it can turn out to be a indispensable means to do your work and even the aim. That instead of surfing the Internet to find information, you can create it.
It seems to me that the problem isn’t in the students – they just do what they are used to doing – but in the whole system of our education. Have you ever heard the following words: "It can be your own work, not copied from the Internet?” I’ve heard it so many times in my school years. Such kinds of phrases fell deep in our mind and we tend to regard the Internet as a kind of "prohibited source of wisdom”, being unable to regard it as a necessary means of education.
Not only the way to get knowledge, but a way to develop your own competence. Not the source, but a means. Not for finding info, but for creating it. That’s why we use the Internet in our studies.

This is a good observation. I liked all of it. But I would like you to add more data, more replies, more opinions. I didn't understand how many questions you've asked (3?) and how many students were interviewed. Ten students will be enough for the teaching purpose - writing a research-based article. You have traced the dynamics of change quite well, but please add percentage figures. Please, re-edit the article to make it more scientific.
