Threat/Risk/Danger/Conflicts & Natural Instincts for That (by Luck)
In my opinion all these notions are very closely connected with each other. First of all they all have a negative connotation because people who are under risk or threat or any kind of danger feel emotionally weak, unstable, unprotected and lost. These notions can manifest themselves in different forms but in my opinion they all are destructive. Even when one threatens the other one, it will make the person feel unnaturally and provoke retaliatory actions, so this is a double-edged weapon. Do not cause troubles to the others and you will never be in troubles yourself. Hence we can say that all these notions are associated with the concept of personal safety in a great respect. As I have already said, in case a person feels that something can destabilize his/her life or lives of the closest people, his/her brain starts generating the only thought “I am under risk, I need to respond in order to protect myself”. This is just an instinct of survival, and we can’t but obey its rules. At the same time I can say that in every nation, or even in every country these concepts are different. For example in the Orient, in case you offend someone, you’ll get much more than a rude word from the family in response. But in our country, according to the law, you are not allowed to do any harm to the offender, because only the court can decide that. Speaking about cultures and nations we can also raise a question whether there are some natural instincts for conflicts. Because we can clearly see that the reasons for the conflicts we have to resist, are absolutely different. Sometimes they can be justified and sometimes – absolutely not. What make people start a conflict? In my opinion, some nations have this aggression in their blood. The firm aim of their life is to provoke a conflict with someone else and then to fight (physically or mentally, it does not matter) until they see that they completely ruined and destroyed a person or a nation. You cannot justify such conduct and there is no excuse for that, but I suppose this is exactly what people can call “natural instincts” – getting pleasure realizing that someone suffers. So cultures are different, people are different, but the only thing that can unite them is that in any situation a person tries to protect himself and people whom he/she loves in order to prevent this feeling of risk/danger/threat.
Instincts my be classified as of three main kinds -- those of self-preservation; those which subserve the continuance of the race; and those which maintain the cohesion of the group, whether this group be a clump or herd of animals, or the more complex mass of individuals which makes up human society with its highly varied forms of grouping. In my opinion instincts to help us to survive in the world of nature and animal and let us to be the master of this world
