What Diminishes Our Life Expectancy Most?
This question is raised as frequently as the issue of increase of longevity. Why do people die so early while scientists calculated long ago that a human can live out as much as 180-200 years? If we separate ourselves from the figures and statistic indicators, we can educe the following assumptions. Senility is caused by the changes taking place throughout the body; it involves all the organs the activity of which is regulated by the nervous system. Consequently, the longer the normal functionality of the nervous system is preserved, the later the body wears out. The role of the nervous system in the process of aging is engrossing. Back-breaking and long-term moral pressure leads to the overfatigue of the cerebral cortex. People with emotional disorder grow senile faster and die earlier of various diseases. The unsound nervous system alters the normal heart performance, produces irreversible changes in the respiratory tract and the digestive system, troubles metabolism and all physiological processes that ensure the body defenses. All this brings about a premature death.
That is why I tend to think that exposure to stress situations and remaining unmarried are probably on top of the list of low life expectancy factors. Exposure to radiation, riding in cars, animal or insect bites, flying by plane, choking on food, being struck by lightening or attacked by terrorists cannot be considered the primordial roots of the early deaths. Perhaps the work of a coal miner is more stressful and hazardous than any groups of terrorists.

you've got to be kidding, right? i mean, haonsn is totally justified in his assertions. one need only to look at lisa's rock for evidence, because i don't see any tigers around springfield. personally, i think we should focus on the reald danger to americuh :bears. vicious, food-theiving bears. we should invade their country in the ANWR and drill for oil. that'll teach em, with their pointy teeth and voracious appetites.
