EXAM PERIOD 1
While the exam period is going on, you oght to do some tasks on the site.
- In the 'About Us' section, create a new page titled 'I remember it well...'
- In it every one of you writes about a few positive, unusual, funny or strange things, events, actions, words that happened or were said in the University
- Say why you remember them, what you felt, how you reacted, what was so good or strange about them
- Upload a new photo of yourself and your stories opposite it,
The aim is to create a list of most memorable events and situations that happened in the group or to the group members.

Dear Group! Please, do a final overview of your materials on the site.
- Have you done everything?
- Have you posted all of the required materials?
- Have you left your comments in the blogs?
- Have you left your comments in the video section?
- Have you posted your writings on Dickens and Galsworthy?
- Have you posted pieces of news?
- Have you posted enough photos?
- Have you participated in the forums?
Get everything done before the exam, otherwise I will be forced to lower your examination grade.
As I said before, your preparation for the exam is supposed to take about 6-8 hours a day. Enough time to complete all of the tasks.

Another thing: I am ready to substitute the class by online discussions. Do these by Thursday.
1) Do the tasks on Dickens and Galsworthy and fill in the web page
2) Look through your posts and do correction work.
Another thing for the exam (due 5 January):
- Choose any forum of any thread, look though the posts and messages, and write a evaluative essay or a data-based article on the topic of the chosen thread (about 700-1000 words).
- I would be interested in the forums 'Matters of Faith', 'How and when to build a family', 'New means of Communication...', and the like
- This is a must and is part of the exam. Post on the site.

Dear Students! This is a reminder to you all that our next class on homereading is on Monday 13. The section on John Galsworthy in 'Interpreting Fiction' is almost empty. Strict requirements to meet until the Monday class:
1) post materials on parts 1 and two,
2) upload links to Galsworthy,
3) fill in the Multimedia podcast.
Unless these requirements are met, we won't have the class on Monday and I will have to write a Syllabus Incompletion Report to the dean's office and reschedule the class.

Hi, Everyone! Since we have started discussions on the matters of Faith and Religion, it's necessary that we should create three new video categories called 'Faith Matters', 'The Bible', 'Christian Icons'. Your task:
- Surf the Internet (Youtube) for videos on Faith, Religion, Christianity
- Surf the Internet (YouTube) for videos on the Bible, biblical sayings, metaphors, stories and parables
- Surt the Internet (YouTube) for videos on Icons.
Add these videos on the site into the Videos section under the appropriate category.

Hi, everyone! A few things for you to do during the coming week. We have started another classroom topic on 'Man and the Sacred'. This is supposed to be an eye-opening revealing discussion about such notions and concepts as the Supernatural, the Devine, the Absolute, the Sacred, the Ultimate Power which later will extend to religious matters and theological debates. We have already started some discussion in the Forum 'Faith Matters'.
New Project Description:
- start the blog 'Man and the Sacred'
- in it, everyone makes a post (200-500 words) related to the theme: the main thesis, your vision and understanding, examples of cultural behaviour-patterns, signs, rituals, traditions, tokens, etc. that derive from earliest pagan traditions and live today
- in your posts use links, photos or videos.
- everyone chooses any 4 posts, writes replies (include facts, evidence, examples, artifacts...)

Dear Students, I have thought about your ideas concerning the hypertext novel. In it, I want you to experiment with the form, composition, story lines, language, conflicts, character types, themes, descriptions, and the like. Though it is an experiment, things ought to be done seriously and with a purpose in mind. Your purpose is to understand the hypertextual genre of e-literature by writing an e-novel. So, discuss the conception and the other points every time they change. We have agreed that the hypertext novel has to start with an introduction in which you describe the main aspects of the novel, the title, characters, time of events, the technical side, and the like.

- Write an experience-based article (or a narrative essay) on how you communicate(d) with animals or pets. The article should contain an introduction, the main thesis, the body text, examples and generalizations, a conclusion and the final part. However, I want to close the article with a set of thought-provocative questions or statement that will cause the readers reaction.
-The article can also contain diagrammes, schemes, illustrations, links to other resources, links to related discussions on our site and the like.
