FREE WI-FI IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Murmansk authorities have found an interesting solution of the problem with public transport. The problem was: citizens of Murmansk preferred to take rout-taxis to get to the place of their destination. So, people were unwilling to use public transport. That's why now all the passengers of a trolleybus can have a free Internet access paying only a fare. This innovation is supposed to attract schoolchildren and students and finally to normalize passenger traffic.
As for me, I think that's a brilliant idea. I wish we had such creative novelties in Ryasan as well.

I'm sure it's not possible to browse the Internet standing in the crowd jostling to the exit of a trolleybus. And I can't actually imagine that old shaky rattling trolleybuses will have free Wi-Fi biggrin
By the way, are citizens of Murmansk so well-paid that they can afford taxi-rides so often that the public trucking company lays itself out to attract them???

I doubt. But it is a good economic decision if it brings profit in the long run. Becasue for the transportation company it is not free. If they do not raise fares, they must find other ways how to compensate for increased expenses.
