Illegal casino revealed

An illegal casino was closed in the centre of the city today - it was in MOGES street, near "Druzhba" cinema in the building where "Coffeeboom" cafe is situated. The gambling venue worked as a lottery club. The economic police withdrew 41 amusement machines, a roulette with a table and more than 180,000 roublesDespite the law forbidding establishments of the kind, they still exist, and more than that - right in downtown.

Yes, I’m also surprised. We can see illegal game-clubs almost everywhere in Ryazan. For example, there are two “lottery-clubs” near my house and they are opened every evening. A lot of youngsters and old people (mostly men) visit them.

I just can’t understand what’s so funny and gripping in using these stupid machines called “one-handed bandits”? You press the button and don’t have to think or take part in the process. You are just standing buy and waiting for the Fortune’s smile. When people play cards for money, they at least use their brains…

It's strange only this one was closed. You see, at least 3 casinos are still open in the central street of Ryazan - Pervomaysky avenue. They function as lotteries too. So do they have some protection "above"? Or are they untouchable? dry
