Hm.. I was trying to find exact figures that represent Russian GDP and GNP but I failed to do it The only information I came across was something like "GNP increase in 2012!" "how to increase Russian GNP?" It seems that the situation is rather poor....
Guys, have I got it right? The GDP of Chine is much higher than its GNP, isn't it? And really, what about Russia? As far as I've got it the GDP is more important. What is our GDP?
This video explains to us in a pretty easy way how to calculate GDP and GNP, what the difference between these two notion is and why actually economists should pay attention to them. I liked it that the man managed to talk about very specialized things in a quite ordinary way so that I suppose everybody could be interested in the topic. But he mainly told us about England and its ecomomic situation. I think it would be nice if we could learn something new about Russia too.
