Well, rather optimistic view to economic situation in the USA. But for me this video was very difficult to watch. A great number of economic notions made me sick and tired.

I tend to believe that videos of this kind have certain target auditory - people who are professional businessmen and economists. For other people such meetings organized to discuss current economic situation and ways of improving it are not very informative - just because to apprehend this information one has to be very experienced and prepared for serious discussion. The theme of the video is quite urgent, but the way it is discussed is not for common people.

I suppose you're right. When watching this video I have to MAKE myself watch it. Though I try to be very attentive I keep getting distracted. I suppose the main reason for that is the fact that it is not oriented on ordinary citizens. Its target audience is people majoring in economics.

In this video business leaders look rather optimistic. Some economists will argue that the world economy will have long-term growth. Let us hope their prognoses will come true!

They only discuss the possibility of improving USA's economic situation, so the video does suppose to give you some basic economic knowledge but it's more "advanced":) I am also not so good at this "advanced" Economics though, so I was more interested in their speech as well:)

I can’t say that this video is rich in economic context, but speaking about Phonetics and accents it is very illustrating, especially Roubini’s speech)
