Sometimes people know the notion but they hardly understand what the word really means. The concept “budget” is familiar to each of us, but if you ask people to explain what it means, some of them will find it difficult to choose right words. So, in this case the video is very useful – it manages to illustrate an economic phenomenon in such a way that everybody understands its essence. Anв the way of this “illustration” is so nice, that you'll never regard economy as smth boring and tedious)))

Yeah, really, the form of presentation is creative, so it helps to understand those who doesn't know what the budget is all about. By the way why do you react as if you never knew what it is?)

I'm not reacting in such a way! I just think that the purpose of the video is to explain the concept of "budget". And judging by the form of the presentation, this video is aimed at children. That's why I'm saying that it is informative. For them.

Are you really sure it's for children? I wish it were so. Ask ten of your friends (who don't study at an economics department) to give the definition of the budget and explain the mechanism of its performing, and perhaps 8 of them will fail to do it.To have a rough understanding of a notion and to know its essence are different things.

I completely agree with Asya. This video is really nice. Everyone ought to know that importance of budget is very high, especially for entrepreneurs. It allows you to observe how well your business is doing and let's you see where changes need to be made.

Budget is really necessary thing. Unfortunately, our government doesn't always calculate it well. In Russia it seems that money go from common people to government, but aren't spent on necessary for common people things. That means that money "subside" in the pockets of bureaucrats.

Don't you think they can't do sums? Pretty well, I'm sure. The matter is not that the government calculate badly. The thing is that those who make the budget and those who pass it actually belong to the same political party (you know for sure, 2/3 of the State Duma are members of 'United Russia'). The financial control is weakening in this case.
