Yes, it is really so. But our life proves that the education you get doesn't result in your prosperity. For example, among my relatives only my uncle hasn't got higher education. And he is working in a business now and getting much more than his wife (a doctor) or my mother (a teacher). Though they are really much more literate, educated and well-round!

Alex, I think that is quite obvious why all people want to be managers and nobody wants to work. Look, nowadays it is not such a big problem to get an education. There are lots of branches of universities so you even do not need to go to Moscow for example, you can stay in Ryazan, choose one of these "universities", pay not so much money and study, and finally get your diploma. And what will be next? You will try to find a job, and the only thought you will have in your mind will be, "I have a DIPLOMA so I will get a well-paid job". But your salary also depends on your knowledge! But still everybody wants to be a manager and nobody wants to be a secretary smile

I wouldn't say your salary depends on the diploma or knowledge as such (think of a teacher's salary). Most prosperous businessmen don't have higher education at all. Even fewer of them mastered those fundamental sciences high students do. The money you get is the outcome that is based on your personal experience, your personal achievements, your personal ideals and ideas that you are ready to put into action. And perhaps your ability to communicate successfully will have even greater impact on your future career.

No Jane, you misunderstood me. I completely agree with your point of view but I was actually talking about those people who simply enter the university because it is "cool" and "prestigious", so they pay money, and during the next 5 years they do nothing. After that they get the diploma and pretend to be "people with high education", that is why they want to get higher positions and better jobs, but in fact being not creative or at least good at this or that sphere at all. You can become very successful without having a diploma but for that you need to work hard. But those people do not want to work at all.

According to factual evidence in the life of every uneducated (without high education) businessmen the moment has come when they have to get it. Our professors at the University give us information, but it is the student who choose how to deal with it.

I liked the video very much. There was a thought that there must be employers and employees. I completely agree with this statement. Nowadays many people want to achieve success in sphere of leadership so-to-say. But still if every person is a manager who will work then? Another fact that many non-managing professions are low-paid and non-respected. This happens in such social spheres as health care, education, etc.

You have done the task quite well. MissJane, you have used the phrase 'a wide-range advertising company' but according to the context you needed the word 'campaign' instead of 'company'. Disagree if I am wrong.
