This video consists of the images of the most holy, highly venerated and wonderworking icons of Ukraine - through many of these icons hundreds of sick people received healing, many blinds started seeing, thousands got cured. There are a great variety of healing icons. We can't explain their power from the scientific point of view. But do we really need it? Do we really need some proofs for the Faith? I think, no. There is a point of view that only atheists are searching for some proofs, because they just dream of religious failure. Of course, I mean those atheists who aren't any better than religious zealots who are ready to kill for their faith. By the way, can bigotry be regarged as the highest level of faith? I think, know. The fact is that one must not only believe. but understand the essense of his/her religious doctrine. The questionless faith can lead to the way in Hell. Remember the crusades of the Middle Ages. Those people took each other's lives for faith forgetting about its basic truth NOT TO KILL. Even today we have echos of that cruel times. Old people in church can almost crab you if you do something wrong, because you just don't know how it really works. And this is in fact one of the main reasons for adolescents' facing away from the Orthodox church. So one should have the golden mean in everything, even in his/her face. Believe with your whole heart, but understand what you believe in.

Having watched the video I'm now really thinking of going to the church on Sunday. I also like the comment written to the video on YouTube: "NOTE that Orthodox people do not pray to the wood or metal but to those who are depicted on these icons. Icons are windows to heaven through which we often receive graces from God."

And the reason is quite obvious for me - the music! It is so calming, it even lets your mind get rid of all the thoughts and just listen without analyzing or interpretation.It reminds me of organ concert in Hungary - it gives you the same feeling of security and bliss.
