The progress of life is felt very easily. A few years ago we couldn`t believe that in a few seconds I`ll listen to my new favorite song because it took us a half of an hour to download in from the Internet. We waited a minute to find the information we need. But now we can do everything perfectly quickly. It`s fantastic! What will be further?
Yes, the video is quite nice)))) while watching it I tried to remember – how it used to be? What did it start with? I remember the cards you had to buy to use the Internet, I remember that while surfing in the Inet you couldn't use your telephone. I remember that the speed was so slow that it took me 15 (!!!) minutes to download 1 song. I remember the time when “to send smb an e-mail” was a really unfamiliar kind of activity. And nobody could even imagine that one can use his laptop instead of TV to watch movies. Yes, the Internet has changed a lot, so have we)
Rina, I have the same feelings as you have. My first computer (to be honest my brother’s one))) has MS DOS, there was NO mouse at all!! If you need to find something you input it in command line! By the way I was very proud that I have computer, it was interesting just to press key buttons and to see the results on the display
The video shows us how we "started" online communication, it's development...and also gives us the idea that this kind of communication will exsist forever. It is something that influences our life so much...
Oh, love it so much! This video clip is, so to say, on the romantic side, as it tells of evolution of communicative technologies that let people meet each other and unite them. And we can't deny that modern technologies allow us to stay in touch no matter how far we are from each other.
Yes, the Internet has given me a chance to get acquainted with the people that are very important for me now. But I would never dare come to them and make friends in real life. The Internet makes our communication easier because it doesn't have so many boundaries we have to pay attention to in non-virtual reality. We all are users there. We are equal.
