"Creativity fuels innovation". Like the way the thought is formulated. That's a universal truth. No creativity-no innovations-no development-no future. By the way, has anybody heard of "the first film high school"? What is it? What does the curriculum there look like?
Quite an encouraging view on the problem of raising people's interest in being educated. I'm sure the low standard of education (in Russian as well) is conditioned (not last of all) by lack of motivation. And motivation stems from a set of life views and guiding principles of a person. Know what? These principles are shaped by education! It all came back to where it had started! Where is the way-out, I wonder? Could it really be the idea of film-making? Don't know exactly.
