It's really so, that "Education has changed". The problem is that nowadays student demand more than they can get at schools and universities. The development of teaching process is slower than global development. And not so many teachers have time to keep abriest of the times.

"Teaching methods should change" - states the video. "Teaching methods are changing!" - proves our life. Slowly (may be too slowly) but still... Lessons based on using modern technologies, students' project works, focus on communication and collaboration are parts of today's education. Not in all cities, not in all schools, unfortunately. Teaching methods ARE changing. But these changes should take place EVERYWHERE, in all schools and unis.

Quite convincing. biggrin
Frankly speaking this video doesn't contain any new information for me. But it's evoked some of my ideas: why not MAKE teachers work with digital technologies? Why not IMPOSE it on them? It is really very important for education to be appropriate for the demands of the modern society. They say that modern students should know how and where to get the information, not keep everything in mind. But it's still a debatable question: how much should really be demanded of pupils so that they are not overloaded with information and at the same time remain educated.
